When I was hired the company that I worked for had required that I get my prints done first, they paid for them but I didn’t know why this was necessary. Later I did understand as they had many people developing proprietary techniques and inventions and wanted to know that they could find you if you chose to steal something from them. They did use the inkless fingerprinting when I had mine done so it was not so bad, I never knew they had pads with no ink in them that would leave a black print. I find this rather intriguing. I would not mind having one of those.
