In response to the high volume of questions regarding the DS antennae and its compatibility with HD broadcasting, the spokesman for the company has said that at this time the DS antennae will not support the signals from HD broadcasts. This begs the question of obsolescence. R4 DS might indeed become the most popular way to watch movies and shows on the DS. The quality comes out decently for a portable device and it is definitely the only way to play emulators. I still wonder if they will ever make it possible to convert HD signals from the broadcasts… who knows
