I’m a horseback rider, so I know the importance of having well fitting riding boots.  Over the years, I’ve tried several different styles, including Western cowboy boots and English riding boots.  I’ve tried ones that were made of leather as well as ones that were made of vinyl.  My favorite style is English field boots – I especially like that they lace up, so I can adjust the tightness of them when necessary.  My sister, on the other hand, prefers leather cowboy boots that pull on.  I guess what it boils down to is personal preference.  The main thing is that you feel comfortable in whatever you’re wearing.
