What is it about boys and boxing gloves? Is it some undefined desire to beat things? I tried to control my little boy’s urge to hit, but his daddy encouraged it. He said every little boy should know how to fight. I don’t understand how a three year old has any business fighting. At least he doesn’t want me to get in the boxing ring with him and I am hoping he won’t take on his grandfather again when my dad is not expecting pudgy fists to pummel into his midsection. I make sure to point all the blame to the parent who has earned it.
