At what age is it inappropriate to share bunk beds with someone else? My daughter is getting ready to go to school for the first time without us but I would like to give her some of the furniture from her bedroom for her first place. It really is a great bed.  The bottom portion can be moved out while she can actually sleep on the top. She can store her clothes under the top bunk and then her first college roommate can sleep on the bottom bunk. This way she can have a roommate and not have to worry about sleeping situations or space in the room.
