When I bought a fireplace screen, I thought that it would only make my fireplace look less attractive and cluttered. I was wrong. The screen even made the fireplace more attractive. I am thankful that my best friend shared to me her thoughts about the need for a screen. She told me that one of her children almost got hurt because of her fireplace. I cannot afford to see my children injured because of my carelessness and my inability to recognize the necessary safety measures that I should implement in my own home. Now I am assured that nothing will happen to my kids.
