Ruth was leaving for college. She had already packed some of her stuff but she was still picking some of the things she wanted to take with her to her college dorm. She had asked her dad for his Elektra espresso machine. Ruth expected that she would be needing a lot of coffee to go through all the sleepless nights getting ready for exams. Her dad had allowed it, he would just have to get a new one that week. Ruth tried to get away with taking the microwave too but her dad wouldn’t allow it. They finished packing within the hour, had a short break and then they left for Ruth’s college campus.
