On Monday morning I took the time to drive over to Loma Linda University to visit my friend Jim. Jim had entered the hospital a week before with some kidney problems and I was a little concerned about his well-being. Considering he had gotten divorced a few years before he really doesn’t have any visitors. As we were sitting there talking I overheard a conversation at the bed next to his. Apparently the woman that was in the same room with him was consulting some immigration attorneys regarding some situation that had to do with her son-in-law. I tend to be nosy.
