If you are one of the many people who are a bit befuddled by estate law, do not feel alone.  Many people struggle with terms and concepts involved, such as the difference between a revocable estate trust and, say, a life estate deed.  The difference is in the “revocable” part. A revocable estate trust, as the name implies, may be revoked or changed before the person who has issued it passes away. A life estate deed, however, is usually set in stone, and means that you own the property, but another person is in possession of it until he or she passes away.
