The global influences on graduate careers should be taken seriously if you end up working for a multinational company. Globalization has been a top buzzword in business for many years, and it does not appear to be headed in the opposite direction. The borders are smaller as employees find themselves working with people from all over the world. Global diversity on team projects is highly probable. Also, standard operating procedures will vary for an office located in England, from one that is located in Latin America. The key for working in a global company is to find commonalities, such as the company’s mission statement. Somethings are universal.
