Lloyds Banking Group have announced yet more job lay offs today. That makes the total 8000 since just January this year. Today they have stated that they are going to lose another 1200 jobs in the IT area of the banking division. The lack of Job Opportunities is in sharp contrast to when I went to school when we were advised to try and make a career in something like law or banking. Well now I look at young workers who have tried to get into banking or some other finance career and they are flogging a dead horse. The banking industry will take years to recover if it ever will.
