My fiance and I have been planning our wedding for a few months.

Typically, the bride and her family (in her family’s tradition) would do the lion’s share of the work. But our situation is a little different.

We’re planning a “green” wedding.

That is, all of the decorations (if not hand-made by us or someone we know) will be eco-friendly as will the bridesmaids dresses, the groomsmen suits, and the Flower Girl dress.

We must stress our wedding will not be as formal-looking as most other weddings.

Our commitment to live healthy, and more environmentally-friendly lives is what we want to favor.

Needless to say, we won’t have any ice sculptures.
