Northeast Iowa tourism needs a shot in the arm. Unfortunately there aren’t many big draws in area. Mostly it is just dairy farms so maybe you should use them as a draw. There are whole clubs devoted to the preservation of barns and there are plenty to see. People also like to see just how a dairy works, many have no concept of the inner workings of the barn. The way the machines actually do the milking is interesting in and of itself. Believe it or not, manure handling is much more of a science than most people think it would be.
