Everybody has their favourite music to drive by and has their own collection of CDs in the car ready to help ease the boredom of long journeys. instrumental music, classical and dance are my favoured choices. I have always found driving long distance in the UK a complete pain, it is fine when you are on the motorway but in and around cities or in the country side on A and B roads can be a complete nightmare. However I recently took a long road trip in the states which I wasn’t particularly looking forward to due to my experiences in Britain and anticipating this as being undoubtedly more difficult and stressful due to the distances I was used to being multiplied by six! This was by no means the case over there though with the highways and freeways being huge, multi-lane roads taking you across states and bypassing towns and cities making it a stress free chilled out journey made all the more enjoyable by my choice of music!
